Job Description:

An international automotive parts manufacturer based out of the Lexington, KY area is looking for an Injection Molding Maintenance Trainer to support their operations. The Injection Molding Trainer will travel to other company locations in the area regularly to share their expertise by providing training, process improvement, and quality management strategies for injection molding manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong, well-rounded knowledge of injection molding, and prior experience with maintenance training.

This is a full-time and direct hire position with benefits. Must be able to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities:
--- Travel to provide on-site training for new and existing employees on injection molding techniques, maintenance, and quality standards
--- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes across different facilities
--- Communicate cross-functionally with management teams and different departments
--- Additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
--- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in a related field is preferred
--- Seven (7) years minimum hands-on experience in injection molding, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex molding issues
--- PLC troubleshooting experience, preferably with KEYENCE PLC
--- Ability to read and understand blueprints / schematics
--- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train employees
--- Must be able to travel to other company manufacturing locations (about 50% of the time)
--- Must hold a valid driver's license
