Additionally, you work to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions. -Essential Functions:

• Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.
• Review documents, such as production schedules and work orders, to determine materials requirements or material priorities.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Works from Bills of Material and Manufacturing plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to planned schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress.
• Coordinates with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and interfaces with engineering program management, and external customers.
• Ensures availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.
• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems. -Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or related field and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience manufacturing environment. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience manufacturing environment. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years experience knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods. -Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally on a diverse team
