seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Data Architect to
join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's data
architecture to support our business objectives. The Business Data
Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify
and analyze business requirements, create data models, and develop
data governance policies to ensure data quality and integrity.
General Responsibilities:
- A pivotal role in the execution of the Data Strategy, within
the overall Business Strategy of AMIG.
- Day-to-day operations of the Data Office are carried out
professionally and in a manner that supports the business goals of
the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business
requirements and translate them into data architecture
solutions.
- Design and develop data models that align with industry best
practices and organizational objectives.
- Partner with the Data Governance Lead and data stewards to
create data governance policies, and data quality standards that
align with industry best practices and organizational
objectives.
- Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data
architecture solutions with existing systems and
infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain data architecture diagrams, documentation,
and metadata to ensure transparency and understanding across the
organization.
- Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify trends,
patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data
architecture and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data security,
privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with data analysts and data scientists to ensure that data
architecture solutions meet their needs and enable them to perform
their jobs effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to junior data architects and
other team members as needed. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in data architecture, data
warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data
modeling techniques, and data governance best practices.
- Experience with data architecture tools and technologies such
as PowerDesigner, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability
to work with complex data sets and identify patterns and
trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the
ability to work with both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI,
Cognos etc. is a plus.
- Certification in data architecture or a related field is a
