OverviewOverviewThe General Manager will oversee all aspects of
a location's day-to-day operations, financial performance and team
development. This individual will drive growth, optimize
performance metrics, build a strong culture and lead the
professional development of staff and management. With full P&L
ownership, this role combines strategic, financial and operational
leadership to create a world-class operation.This is a unique
opportunity for a driven leader to thrive in an entrepreneurial
environment within the Skilled Trades industry, often overlooked
yet vital. Success in this role offers an expedited path to
overseeing additional growth initiatives and potential acquisitions
within Apex's expanding network.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive key
performance metrics, including revenue, sales conversions, average
invoice, employee retention, customer satisfaction, and maintenance
subscription plans
- Deliver a "gold standard" of service and quality through
effective training, accountability, and data-driven
decision-making
- Cultivate a culture of purpose and collaboration, fostering
employee engagement and retention at all levels
- Lead efforts to expand employment opportunities, impacting
through career growth and skill development
- Manage all financial activities, including budgeting and
forecasting, with accountability for achieving performance goals
and optimizing P&L
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader, with daily in-person
presence required in the Greater Dayton and Cincinnati areaWe are

possess:
- A minimum of 3+ years managing teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience directly owning and managing a P&L preferred,
with a playbook-driven approach to leadership and hiring
- Strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills,
with the ability to inspire followership
- Energetic and optimistic attitude, adaptability to change and
proven success in achieving results
- Critical thinking and risk analysis skills to develop creative,
actionable solutions
- A deep respect for the Skilled Trades or similar
