A&P Technology is the world-leading producer of precision braided textiles. A&P's leadership is the result of commitment to its customers and an ethic of hard work and ingenuity. We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team.

The responsibilities for this role include all financial reporting and assisting senior management to improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. The accounting manager will assist in the day-to-day operations to ensure everything is processed timely and accurately. The accounting manager will interact with senior leadership and will address a wide range of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and year-end items and offer support to budget and forecasting activities.

Objectives of this Role Strong attention to detail in assisting in the day-to day operations
Maximize accounting efficiency through innovative process development

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and government regulatory requirements
Assist with external auditors and annual audit requirements
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation
Develop ad-hoc financial reports and work on special projects to support operations including inventory costing and fixed asset/project costing
Enforce internal controls to maximize protection of all company assets

Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting
4+ years of accounting experience
Working knowledge of (GAAP), banking, and payroll and other taxes

Preferred Qualifications Strong working knowledge of detailed accounting and financial data analysis
Manufacturing experience with a focus on streamlining accounting processes
Proficiency in using accounting software such as Dynamics Accounting Systems
Experience working on Government Prime and Subcontracts
